Storage Expansion Cards
The NVMe expansion card is a hardware slot card used to connect and expand NVMe storage devices. It can provide additional storage expansion capabilities to the motherboard. Using a high-speed communication protocol based on the PCIe bus, it has higher data transmission speed and lower latency than the traditional SATA interface. Using NVMe expansion cards to connect NVMe storage devices can significantly improve storage performance, speed up data reading and writing, and improve system responsiveness.
It is used in special scenarios with high demand for storage performance and capacity, such as data centers, virtualized environments, or high-performance computing.
